Introduction

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service's Home Fire Safety visits help protect communities by providing safety advice to those most at risk. Each visit includes fire safety advice and additional guidance on health, wellbeing and crime prevention. If hazards or risks are identified during the Home Fire Safety visit, the Service can make a referral to appropriate partner agencies for further help and support.

Thank you for taking the time to make a referral to book a Home Fire Safety Visit with Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. 

 

During the visit we will ask for personal information about you, your health and lifestyle and record your answers.  This helps us to understand your risk from fire and offer tailored advice and support.  We will also use this information to evaluate how effective our service is and help us understand fire risk in the community.  We will store your personal information securely in accordance with data protection law for seven years and then delete it from our system.
